founder of PoundSound
After graduating from College with triple grade distinctions in Music Technology, I began my journey writing, arranging, mixing, and producing music for local Acoustic, Rock, Metal, and Pop artists.
In 2011, I became the jingle writer for Stafford FM, where I was responsible for creating the station’s theme, show openers, and bespoke music beds for advertisers during its rebuild and relaunch, as well as assisting in the reconstruction of the studios. Alongside this, I continued producing for local artists and performing as a guitarist in original bands, as well as for weddings and events.
Fast forward a little, after undergoing two neck surgeries and a course of radiotherapy, I decided to take a break from music and pursue other ventures. Despite this shift, my creative drive remained strong, leading me to found PoundSound, a platform where I channel my passion and help others embark on their creative journeys.

My journey has been anything but linear, shaped by learning difficulties, health complications, and a complex personal background. Nevertheless, my dedication to creative expression, whether through music, photography, graphic design, video production, or composition, has remained steadfast.
Through PoundSound, I aim to bring together all my experiences in a way that can help others navigate their paths. I understand the challenges of information overload and strive to produce content that is easy to digest, offering simple and practical solutions to save time and frustration for fellow creatives.
My commissioned work and free releases span a range of media, including DVDs, adverts, games, podcasts, promotional content, and online videos. Today, I work as a freelancer, editing videos, mixing audio, and creating music and sound for various promotional projects.
Metal Meltdown trailer
I don’t aspire to be anything grand, nor do I consider myself a professional in the industry, just someone with a few obsessive passions who occasionally creates something worthwhile. I’m simply trying to make an honest living doing what I love. I hope to encourage others, or at the very least, inspire fellow creatives to keep pursuing what they enjoy. Along the way, I’m always open to learning something new myself. After all, no one is perfect, and in the end, it’s the journey that matters most, not the destination.
