Composer • Sound Designer • Video & Audio Editor
Whether you need original music, sound design, or post-production support, I offer freelance services tailored to creative projects across games, film, adverts, and online content.
Over time, my commissioned and self-released works have spanned DVDs, adverts, games, podcasts, promotional videos and online content for a range of companies and creative artist projects. Alongside this, I work as a freelance video and audio editor, with an emphasis on sound design and original composition.
After graduating from college with triple grade distinctions in Music Technology, I began writing, arranging, mixing, and producing for local acoustic, rock, metal, and pop artists.
In 2011, I became the jingle writer for Stafford FM, creating the station’s theme, show openers, and bespoke music beds for advertisers during its rebuild and relaunch. Alongside this, I continued producing for local artists and performing as a guitarist for original bands, weddings, and events.
Following two neck surgeries and a course of radiotherapy, I stepped away from music for a time to explore other ventures. The creative drive never left, and PoundSound was born as a way to channel that energy and support others on their creative journeys.
My path has not been linear. Living with ADHD, ASD, and dyslexia, alongside various health challenges, has shaped both my outlook and creative process. These experiences influence how I communicate and design my work, with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and practicality. My goal is to make information easy to digest, helping other creatives save time, reduce frustration, and stay inspired.
PoundSound exists to bring together the skills I have learned and share them in ways that genuinely help others. I understand how overwhelming information can become when you are trying to finish a project. My priority is to offer simple, practical solutions that allow creators to spend more time creating.
I am not focused on spectacle. I care about helping people make steady, honest progress and build a sustainable creative life. I hope to encourage and inspire fellow creatives to keep pursuing what they enjoy. I am always open to learning and to new collaborations.
